Ep booster colors the tone. Some say in a good way i say in a bad. i sold it. I use the sp compressor and its boost. It's clear, it does not modify your sound. I might buy an rc booster as well.

Yeah its sure the cable. Thats the weakest part of the dyne. The cable quality is crap. Remember to bring backup cables for gig.

For 1 week now or so i got a hiss problem too. I guess it is a tube sh!t. While fading away of sustaining a note or chord a hiss comes in the end and fills my playing not very musically. it does it on every channel. Except for this i sound flawless. Any ideas on that?

the dyne is cool. you wont regret it. it needs time to get used to though. this animal needs tempered. for classic rock you might use 2x12 or 4x12 vintage greenbacks but mesa cabs to maintain bass. but if i had a head i'd buy 2 separate mesa cabs with 90w black shadows.
