Haha...that's cool! I've done a very similar test once, to help a fellow forumite out. I dialed the Roadster to make it sound like my old pre-500 Recto, and was EXTREMELY similar...it was hard to tell the difference :D However, the clips You did sound awesome!! Good job! CJ

As far as I know, noone in the US is allowed to ship Mesas abroad. You would have to go there and pick it up in person ;) This was the case very recently, at least. CJ

Thanks, both of You! The thread by Jdurso was very informative too! I put the Tung Sol in V1 of my RKII and a Ruby/JJ in V3. The tone is solid - maybe a little more compressed and with a little less "bite" than with stock tubes. I'll run it for a while and we'll see! ;) Take care CJ

The 500T will be very good with the Roadster and I wouldn't worry about it getting muddy. For a hot pickup it's very bright! Worth a try!! CJ
