    Mark III footswitch help

If I had one of the switches to look at, then yes. I Don't have one, which is why I asked. Hoping that someone around here has one or knows how they're wired. I'm working on a custom switching solution.

    Mark III footswitch help

Can anybody help me out with how the EQ/REV FOOTSWITCH is wired. After experimenting, I'm pretty sure it's not just a simple TRS to 2 switches kind of thing. I've had two MK IIIs, and they both have done the same thing. Wired like a normal switch, both switches have to be off to completely turn...

    Sold.

Looking to part with this rack. Hoping to get $350 plus shipping. I would prefer not shipping it, but will if I need to. I'm in Lexington, Ky, close to Cincinnatti, Louisville, etc. Sold!

Thinking about buying a studio pre

The studio pre is a great piece. The only reason I sold mine was because I got a MKIII. I never had any issues getting great cleans and lead tones out of it at the same time. Some people did, but not me. I replaced the reverb tank in mine with a retro-fit one from MojoTone, and it really...

So, hitting R2 on a Mark III with a clean boost is...

Nice to see you around these parts too Zach. :D I've seen quite a bit of R-T spillover here. And yeah, R2 is pretty great. I'm using my Barber LTD, set 3:00, 5:00, 9:00 (level, tone, gain) and it's perfect. Super tight, but not brittle or harsh. The Barber is actually super quite for...

    midi help with mark 3

The G Major has a TRS (Tip, Ring, Sleeve) relay jack on it. I use my G Major to control my MKIII with patch changes just like you describe. You can actually pick two functions to control with the G Major. You will need a TRS to Dual TS "Y" cable to make that work, like a standard Insert...

    FS PRS CE 24

I've got that guitar's older brother, same color and everything. Simply a fantastic guitar, and a killer price to boot.

    NAD - MKIII Red Stripe!

I was planning on just hanging on to it, but one of my Rig-Talk buddies took it off my hands last week.

    Studio Premp w/ MKIIc+ mod

The 170k is indeed incorrect. I forgot to mention that. I'm trying to remember what I used, but i think it was a 470k. I'll have to give the 270k a try to see if it works better.

Possible to make deep mode footswitchable?

That's some great info there. Seems like it should be straight forward enough. I'll likely be working on this this weekend. I'll definitely post results once I'm done.

Possible to make deep mode footswitchable?

I'm quite adept with a soldering iron, and have done mods, and service on my other amps, just never a Boogie. Voltages don't bother me. I know where not to touch. Relays/Jfets are very familiar to me as well. Being able to have Deep automatically engage on clean would be great. Thanks. :)

Possible to make deep mode footswitchable?

On a Mark III? Deep mode sounds incredible on the clean channel, but is a little too much on R2/Lead mode. I don't plan on using the Slave out - ever- so I could use that hole in the chassis. Just curious. Thanks. :D

    NAD - MKIII Red Stripe!

My Mark III came in yesterday. Got the chance to fire it up for a little bit last night. Right out of the box, I can tell that it's a tweaker's amp, and I know I'll be having a lot of fun with it. Once I get the rackmount kit for it (which should be on it's way) I'll be ready to go...

    Show me your rack!

Looks like you're doing some kind of W/D setup? That's a pretty good looking rig. How nicely does the Axe play with the rest of the rig?

    Show me your rack!

Ok, I'll play along: This is just before I took the VHT and GCX out. I'll be replacing the Studio Pre with a Mark III red stripe this week. All cabling and wiring done by me, including the 25' multi-pin control cable that carries my MIDI and control signals to and from the pedalboard.
