    All 3 channels live

Yeah I'm talking about using all 3 channels live. I haven't had my foot switch repaired but I've had a little look and i just notice how the channels feed into each other. It seems you have to fiddle around a lot to get equal volumes etc with the amp? Cheers

Mark 4 lead and clean channel switching at gigs

I've just recently got a mark 4 and I'm super happy with it. I'm playing my first gig where I'm going to have to switch between lead and clean. Now I don't have a working foot switch (but could build one easily enough) so I haven't really played around with switching between channels once or...

    Mark 4 2x12 cab recommendations

Because there aren't many second hand mesa cabs in my area, so i'm looking at alternatives.

    Mark 4 2x12 cab recommendations

I'm looking for something that compliments the head that isn't a mesa cab. I play mainly ambient/electronic/hard rock/metal and am probably going to go an open back. I currently own a mesa 4x12 but I'm finding that it's a bit too much lugging around to gigs, so I'm looking for a more practical...

    Mark 4 cab suggestions

I'm looking at some 2x12 cab options at the moment, for the time being I'm probably not going to go a mesa cab so i've been looking around for second hand cabs. There is a guy in Australia who can build you one for around $600 that are well built and you can choose your speakers. So far I've...

Rectoverb vs Dual Rectifier (50Watt vs 100Watt)

Don't they make the new Duals switchable from 100w to 50w now?

Mark 4 differences in these amps

Hey guys, I'm about to buy a mark and I've found two different 1x12's. One looks a little less taken care of then the other and the owner has actually never played it, he bought it from someone and isn't a guitarist. The other has two little buttons it looks like next to the right side of the eq...

Mark 4 combo vs Single Rec purchase

Yeah i hear what you guys are saying about the differences. I do really dig the liquid lead and how articulate the mark 4 is, but i also dig the harshness of the recto. I just love that slight distortion sound i hear from them. I feel that a more versatile amp will suit me better. Someone made a...

Mark 4 combo vs Single Rec purchase

In terms of bottom end, do you think if i run a TS through the mark I will be rocking? If i could get a tone as close to Tool with the mark i would be laughing. Do you think it's possible to do that? I know that he played a Dual at one stage. Cheers

Mark 4 combo vs Single Rec purchase

Hey guys, Dilemma I'm about to buy my first Mesa and after months of looking I've found a single rec head for 1K (Aus) and also a Mark 4 combo for 2K. Sound wise Our band plays electronic, ambient doomish rock with tiny bits of metal thrown in. I don't like too much distortion in this band...

Mini Rec big enough to gig?

Do you guys think that a 25 watt will be loud enough to gig with two drummers. Live wise I'll be mic'd, but it's more rehearsals that I'd be worried about. I ask because i play with two drummers and It's my first band and I'm still learning about band dynamics. Cheers
