    Flux Drive pedal - Excellent!

Just picked one of these up. Ran it into my Lonestar that is set clean. Great tube-screamer type tone, without the mid-hump and flubby bass. Very natural sounding. I'll be replacing my BB preamp with this pedal. Works really well with single coils.

    LSS vs. LS Tone

I actually own both amps. Both will get you what you want. I prefer the the LS classic because it is a little more "neutral" sounding than the LSS. Since I use pedals for my overdrive flavors, I find less of a sonic thumbprint from the LS classic, than the LSS. If you're going straight into the...

Anyone using a roadster for country music?

Out of those two, I'd go with the Roadster. If you have the head version, pick up an open back 1x12, or 2x12 speaker cabinet. You should be able to get some excellent "country tones" with combination. Or trade one of your amps in and buy a Z-wreck when they start shipping...

    TOV Problems

From your description, it sounds like your amp could be "motorboating". Hopefully just a bad preamp or power tube. Try swapping them out, one by one, (in pairs with the power tubes) with a known good tube.

    Tremoverb Overdrive/Boost pedal..

I've been using a fulldrive II for a boost with my TOV for a while now. It works very well for lead work, or for just giving a little more sustain and drive. My FDII is an older version, and probably needs a new switch in it, but it has never failed me in 12 years.

LoneStar Special vs. Maverick: Who wins?

So last night, I decided to do my own Pepsi challenge with the LSS and Maverick. I pulled the Maverick head out of storage, and put a fresh quad of EL84s in it. Using my Les Paul, I must say, now I remember why I bought the Maverick 14 years ago. WOW, the clean channel gives this chimey almost...

LoneStar Special vs. Maverick: Who wins?

I have a Maverick head that I use with a 1x12 widebody recto cab. It's a great combination. I love the dirt channel with humbucking pickups. I also have a Lonestar special, and the clean channel, IMHO, is one of the best I've played. For versatility, the Maverick will give you more usable...
