My buddy had been letting me use his Peavey 4x12, which is a 4 ohm cab. My question is can I also use my 2x12 cab which is rated at 8 ohms, and what would be the proper way to connect both cabs? Amp in question is a Series 2 Single Rectifier. Thanks in advance.

Blew out the tube at V3 in my Solo 50...no idea how it happened. Powered 'er up, let it warm, plugged in...not a peep on channel 2. No glowing at v3 so I swap it out with the tube I believe to be from that position. Practice continued but I hated my sound and want to do some experimentation...

What is the effect loop of a solo 50 head rated at? What level of signal is it "expecting"? It seems the most common are +4dB and -10dB, but this boss giga delay has settings for +4dB and -20dB :? Where/with what would a -20dB signal used? Hella-boosted signal for a mixer/recording device...

Has anyone ever closed a partially open-back cabinet before? I have an Avatar 2x12 open, and an Avatar 2x12 closed back, and I definitely like the closed back's focused sound and low end better than the open-back. How'd you do it? Anyone? Thanks in advance.

How easy would it be to blow a speaker running my Solo 50 head into an Avatar 2x12 w/V30's? Never really considered it as I've always had both 2x12's available.... More than the rating of 60 watts (per speaker) and you run the risk of damage, right? How can I safely guesstimate the peak power...
