Awesome - thanks for the that. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing re: jack in the box vs. hardwired. This definitely qualifies for one of those "while you're in there" moments ... LOL- fasterdammit

Replacing the jack on a DC-3's footswitch
As any road-going gear will attest, cable ends take a beating. So the cable from the footswitch finally lost its jack end. I'm about to solder a new one on, but I'm not sure which strand in the cable goes to which pole on the jack. I have a mid-90s DC-3, with the two-button footswitch - one...- fasterdammit
