    Bump for a killer T-verb!

    F/S Mesa Tremoverb

Mesa Dual Rectifier Tremoverb for sale. Serial number of R-0037XX puts it around 94-95ish. No issues with LDRs that I've encountered. Amp plays beautifully. For those not in the know, this was Mesa's flagship of the Rectifier line long before the Road King. Two channels and two modes per...

I LOVE FAT GIRLS. (The story of how I almost sold my Recto)

If you guys think Orange (Vintage High gain) is sweet, try it on a Trem O Verb. I lived in that channel when I had my T-Verb. Seriously one of my favorite lead sounds ever.

love my stiletto...too bad they are misunderstood...

I just got one Saturday. I traded my Revision G for a Stage I trident. I'm not too worried about the Recto: great amps, but they're everywhere so I won't have trouble tracking down another Revision G if need be. Fortunately I don't think I will. When I was doing the trade with the guy we...

    The Rectifier FAQ Thread

That's actually a good question so I'll jump into it. The Dual Rectifier was the original of the Rectifier series until the Triple Rectifier came out somewhere around Revision F of the 2 channel models. The original thought was that it had two types of rectifiers, tubes and diodes. That was...

    Trem-o-verb or Mark V

You'll dig the T-Verb. It was my favorite out of the Rectifier series by far. Rhythms can crush but the lead tone is to die for. Good score man.

    Mark V modern metal tone

You can get some great metal sounds out of a Mark V. A lot of people dig Extreme mode for modern tones and I still dig Mark IV mode for modern tones. IIC+ mode is awesome too for metal sounds also; it's just less compressed than the other two. Running in Pentode will definitely thicken things...

Guitar World Reviews the Mark V

Channel 3 tones were muddy as hell but those Mark 1 tones were awesome.

Stuck between a IV or V

Depends on what you need in lower gain. The extra clean options are nice and the Crunch/R2 channel on the V is fantastic. I still want one just for the Mark I mode in there. High gain wise, the IV can do 2 out of the three modes on the V with no problems. It doesn't inherently have the IIC+...

    Mark Series Vs. Rectifier Series

Some people like to do an EQ in the FX loop. I like a boost/OD out front. It doesn't necessarily have to be anything ridiculous either. The Rectos are amazing amps but they're voiced a little anemic in the upper mid territory. So running the mids a little higher definitely helps but also...

    Paradigm: Mark V Metal Inside.

Really digging the tones and playing dude. I have a Mark IVa that I love for the same reasons. That tightness and drive that they have is amazing. Very well textured too. I run mine through a Recto 2x12 and have no complaints on the tone whatsoever. The music is pretty **** awesome too...

    The Mark IV thread....!!

Figured I'd contribute a little info to this. I bought my Mark IV about 4 months ago and couldn't be happier. It's a IVa with SN 1470. It's an old bird for sure. It was actually originally a rackmount unit but I replaced the rack with a proper headshell from a later Mark IV (It's taurus...

    Trem-O-Verb Cleans vs Roadster Cleans?

The Roadster and Road King have clean channels based off the Lone Star Clean. As I'm told it's pretty much the same clean channel as the Lone Star Series. The Tremoverb does not have that type of clean channel available to it, but it does do a **** good clean in it's own right. It's just...

    Price check isle 5

Frayed power cable, the speaker is a 12S which I hear sounds like garbage compared to the 12L, tolex is beat to high hell, sweet Jesus. $3000 is way way too much. And I didn't realize that Mike B's initials drove up the resale value  I thought those were on like 99% of Mesa Mark Series...

    NAD for me! Mark IVa

Back shot as requested. There's no reverb tank in at the moment. The rack unit came with one but it was shot and didn't work. I'll order a new one eventually.

    NAD, Solo50

Sweet amp. It's definitely a series II, so it's not too old. As far as pre amp tubes, I'd go with at least a Tung Sol in V1 and I like Electro Harmonix for the rest of my 12ax7s. Very similar tubes, but the Tung Sol is a bit more gainy and smoother. I don't really recommend JJs for the v1-v3...

    What's everyone's favorite Rectifier?

Just to further cement how much I love my Tremoverb I was jamming with the Red channel cloned to orange using both presence controls to sculpt probably the best tone I've ever had. Dear god this thing is so **** versatile. I know the other old two channels can do this as well, but having the...
