They both currently have an SSV in the bridge...which is a great sounding pickup. I'd like something a little hotter in the JM though. I've had the Aldrich set in a Les Paul before (which sounded great) but I'm wondering if in the alder bodied JM the DSH+ might be a better fit.

It's probably a combination of both a great guitar, and a great pickup! I just had Suhr #2 arrive over the weekend, and I'm thinking about swapping out a pickup or two. Anyway, cool guitar and great playing!
