    Poll: How Old Are You?

Keep rocking IronSean! You are in the right place. Wow! Elpelotero you have been a member for a long time. Old folk's home is what this place is. Also, a library of knowledge. I'm 46. This month I celebrate 23 years of being an Ironworker. Next month I celebrate 32 years of playing...

Studio Caliber lead channel goes out after 5 minutes???

Most likely a tube problem. If it is, taking them out and putting them back in will do absolutely nothing to help.

Megadeth Festival = No amps anywhere for ALL bands!!!

I've been watching a lot of the Rig Rundown videos on YouTube. Those professional techs have it down pretty good backstage, running two rigs - one for the stage and one for the PA. I honestly do not like large shows. Almost hate them. The last big show I went to was Anthrax, Testament and...

Need Help With Studio 22 Tune-Up

+1 Might even bring your reverb back. On the .50Caliber+ one of the 5 preamp tubes is the reverb tube.

Need Help With Studio 22 Tune-Up

Not to make things too confusing, but both my amps I looked in just have month and year.

Need Help With Studio 22 Tune-Up

That gives time for someone, that has had the same problem or knows more than myself, to chime in. 1 Yes. Some brands are better, to some people, as far as dependability quality. And some offer different grades of performance quality. Mainly in preamp tubes. Such as, I currently have 4...

JP-2C vs Quad/295 vs Mark III Red Stripe

Great find on the video! Sounds great. Yes, the Quad/295 is cheaper. I bought my 295 for $600 and Quad for $430. Probably could get a red stripe for around that. Just to give you a warning. The Quad/295 is extremely heavy because of it being two separate amps in one package. Total of...

Need Help With Studio 22 Tune-Up

Your buddy is probably right. The most part, maybe 95% of Mesa amp problems are tube related. Sounds like your tubes are worn out. Your amp takes 2 EL84 power tubes and 5 12AX7 preamp tubes. Here is the cheapest I could find on eBay. -...

What to see a picture of my 4 Mesa stacks?

    I'd like to get two MESA Traditional cabinets for the Racktifier. The Racktifier is sitting on my future Mark V snakeskin stack. Three cabinets have been tainted. #3,5 & 6 cab 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 -5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 speaker breakdown for each cabinet 1 C90 (w/original top back panel) - EVM-12L...

    Mesa Mark III Cabinets

Find two Mesa/Boogie metal grill cabinets with EVM-12Ls. Take out any casters. Set them side by side with their feet planted on the ground. This is the only picture I have of any cabs side by side. Newer V30 and older EVM-12L

    Mark IV combo to rack?

A very easy way to see the difference between the two would be by looking at the control panel, to the right of the GEQ. Wide has two rocker switches stacked between the Graphic EQ and large master volume knob known as Output Level. It has the brackets on the back to mount the FU-3 footswitch.
