Hope one of you Mark V gurus have an answer... I have tried several distortion pedals in the loop, both at the front end of my pedal board and the end. In both cases I have a ridiculous amount of reverb, even though I have no reverb or delay in the loop. It appears the pedals are is somehow...

Anyone been using a flux drive with the clean Mark V channel? Figured it would allow me to essentially have a "4th" channel for crunch tones.

Hopefully someone can help... I have regulated pwer supply/surge protectors for my home stereo and computers. Has anyone used something similar for amps? I am getting a lot of ground hum from my electrical outlets and wondering if this may fix the problem.

Question for you Mesa gurus.. I have read that Mesa is a bit different than other amps in the since that much of the gain is achieved in the preamp section and not the power amp section. Is this true? Am I really getting more gain from "heating" the power tubes up.? I know my small Soldano...

Anyone played through both of these...$600 difference between the amps. Not even comparable I assume? Suck it up and spend the money?

I think I know the answer, but will it be OK to use a 16 ohm power attenuator pluuged into th e8-ohm output on the TA?

Looking for some opinions... Love the tone of my vintage 50 caliber+ but I really love the low wattage and form factor of the TA-15. Am i an idiot for selling the caliber to pickup a TA? Anyone have both amps? Will I be dissapointed?

Looking for some advice: I have an opportunity to pick up either a Mesa 5:25 1x12 Express for about $600 or a lighlty used 50 Caliber 1x12 combo for $300. From a tone standpoint, what is the best way to go? I typically play with quite a bit of gain.

Anyone have an opinion regarding the use of a power attenuator with this amp?

Hello All, I am new to this forum and just picked up a .50 Caliber 1x12 combo. I am considering adding a 1x12 Mesa rectifier closed back cabinet, which is 8 ohm. The Caliber has three jacks; one 8 and two 4s. How would I best handle this configuration? Thanks!! :D
