easy way to check your fx loop is to send a signal through the send but without connecting the return. If you get signal through the speakers you got parallel, if you don't you got serial :wink:

Don't forget to bring the master at ~6. This's where all the good stuff happen. Power tubes saturation is a bless ;)

move the amp around the house and use another electric outlet. Probably the room where you have your amp now is introducing noise.

if you check out the schematics, only the master output and presence are after the FX return. the graphic eq is before the fx send.

I'm in the market of an overdrive pedal to push the input of my DC-5. I can not get it out of my mind to try the Flux Drive... Tell me your experience of using the Flux Drive with your beloved DC-5.

I would check your guitar as well. Maybe your guitar/pickups combo is the one that needs more treble.

why you don't try with a treble booster pedal.
