    110V to 220V conversion, Help?

^i'm in the same boat. I live in Australia and use an American mark V with a 1.5kw step down transformer. It's been rock solid since I got it 5 odd months ago.

I've ben looking into the tc electronics stuff. Seems very good for effects. All I need is a boost, chorus/flange, delay and noise gate.

Multi effects or pedals with the mark V?

As some of you may have seen I recently bought a pod hd500 for my mark V in the hope that it would meet my expectations. Well, it did but not without it's downfalls. Ive tried several routing options but they all seem to colour the sound of the mark V too much. I'm only wanting basic effects...

Multi effects (pod hd) & the mark V

Got one! So far I have only been using effects and the looper. Channel 2 loves a screamer or distort in front. I'm actually liking it more than ch3 at the moment.

    Just 'discovered' channel 2 crunch.

So after watching the Petrucci vids I used his channel 2 crunch setting as a base. Today I kicked my amp on using variac at 90 watts and did some more tweaking and bam! There's that killer over driven Brit sound I wanted. The mid range just has such a spank to it. I'm loving it as my replica...

Multi effects (pod hd) & the mark V

Sorry I don't have one but I plan on getting one soon for all my effects and the looper for jamming. Has anyone had any experience? I'm completely satisfied with the 3 channels but I would still like to try line 6s new models through a quality power amp.

New to the Mark V & made some videos

Celestion V60s. It's a bit difficult to evaluate as I haven't tried the Mark V on any different cab. From what I understand, the V60 has quite a scooped mid range. Overall, good combination! Looking into getting a custom cab made by a local guy.

90's 2 channel DR: clean ch presence affecting dirty channel

From what I understand both presence channels are still in effect -> dirty channel becomes very shrill. It happens regardless of being cloned or not. It's such an odd issue.

New to the Mark V & made some videos

Hey all, I'm new here and I am also a proud owner of a recently acquired Mark V! I love this amp! I'm yet to come across a tube amp with more versatility. I recently made some videos demoing some more modern metal and Tool tones (the holy grail). Big thanks to all you guys here for your many...

90's 2 channel DR: clean ch presence affecting dirty channel

Hey all, Just looking for some help for a buddy of mine. He has a dual rec that has a problem where the presence on the clean channel affects the presence on the dirty channel. It happens across all settings i.e. diode/triode/modern etc. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBewr7sr07Q If...
