I want to start messing around with building and modifying some basic overdrive/fuzz pedals. I know a bit about circuits, but know nothing about how the different elements of a circuit affect the sound of a guitar. Anybody have some wisdom or resources they'd be willing to share? Thanks

I have an Orange 212 with British v30's. I want to sell one of them and put in a scumback greenback. Is it OK to mix two speakers with different power ratings? Will the lower watt greenback be able to keep up with the v30 in terms of volume? I've never done this before, so I need some advice...
