    "Dialing" in an LSC

I've had my LSC for a just few months now, and I'm still dialing in channel two. It doesn't help that I change guitars frequently, between a strat and a recently acquired LP. But today after practice I got some great compliments from other band members; our drummer said that out of all the guys...

    Mesa Warranty

"Could I buy new tubes and if something screws up just throw the Stock Mesa tubes back in, drive to Mesa and ask what wrong with my amp? " Too late, they're onto you now! They watch this forum religiously, just for questions like this one!

    First gig with LSC...

Congrats on your first gig with the amp! How much was the handtruck, if you don't mind me asking? I have a feeling that would be a great addition to the Lonestar I purchased recently. And not to hijack your thread or anything, but how does the solo function work for you? I didn't receive my...

Bought a used Mesa Lonestar, speaker rattling?

Maybe they were sniffing the glue instead of applying it?

Bought a used Mesa Lonestar, speaker rattling?

Well, I just *may* have found the problem. This morning I pulled out the speaker, and as I was pulling it out of the cab, I heard a rattle! I thought I was going to find a screw that had fallen out of something. When I turned the speaker over, a piece of glass fell out! It's curved, and looks...

Bought a used Mesa Lonestar, speaker rattling?

Thanks again, everyone. The more I think about it, it really does sound like a loose screw or something, definitely 'mechanical' sounding. Just didn't see anywhere that there could BE a loose screw other than the speaker mounting bolts. I sure hope it's something that simple! I'll let...

Bought a used Mesa Lonestar, speaker rattling?

Thanks, I'm definitely going to try a different speaker in there, just to make sure! I won't be able to do this until Saturday though. :( I have a 12" Celestian, a different type, in another amp. It should at least narrow down the problem area.

Bought a used Mesa Lonestar, speaker rattling?

I don't think it's tube rattle, it really sounds like it's coming right from the speaker itself. I tried tightening the mounting screws but it didn't make any difference. Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions, looks like I'm in for a speaker reconing.

Ok, I turned the reverb off, and the rattle is still there, unfortunately.

Bought a used Mesa Lonestar, speaker rattling?

I guess I haven't really tried it with the reverb turned off, but I did pull the reverb unit all the way out, setting it next to the amp, and the rattle was still there. (At first, I thought it might be coming from the reverb unit.)

Bought a used Mesa Lonestar, speaker rattling?

Hello! I'm new to this forum and I'm the proud owner of a (like new) used Lonestar. I received it today, and immediately noticed a rattling sound when playing low notes, even on the clean channel and at relatively low volumes. It's more noticeable as the note fades away, and *seems* to be...
