As i understand Mesa have offered custom options for most of it's amps. From cherry wood to crocodile skin. I have seen some variation in pilot light color. Is that a custom option to?

Does any one know how it reduces power ? I think clean sounds better at 60w, but distortion/overdrive sounds better at @ 100 watt. And what about tube life, does using 60w increase tube life?

Can i use the send/return/ outputs on my f-100 to connect to a second f-100 amp? That is take the send out divide it in to two parallel outputs. feed one back in to the main head and the other one back in to the second f-100's return input?

Can a Mesa head (F-100) be used with a bass (and a bass speaker) without any risk of damage to the transformer etc?

A mesa F100 head coming my way. I have just bough a F100 head and it is being shipped to me now. I also have the F50 combo. Just wanted to have a 100 watt head also should i need more power. I wonder the half power setting makes it sound like the f50 should i need to run it more quiet?. :mrgreen:

Most of the Celestion speakers are made in China, except the Heritage series. What about the speakers made for Mesa, are they made in the UK?

On the back of my Mesa F-50 there are 3 output jacks. One is labeled 8ohm and two are labeled 4ohm. I think the labeling is a bit strange. But is it like the F-50 should have at least a 4ohm load and that all these 3 jacks are connected in parallel? (I am planing on connect another speaker...
