Probably not, it's hard to say though. I had to have mine fixed recently because of the bias circuit shorting out (or something to that extent). However, it has been gigged heavily and pushed hard throughout the years and its only let me down once in the 6 years I've had it. I'd go for it!

No, I didn't. From what I got off of the Eurotubes site, I didn't think I had to since he had the kit listed under the Mesa/Boogie section of his site. Thats interesting though, maybe I bought/got the wrong tubes from Eurotubes. I guess what you're implying is that could have screwed things up.

The year old JJ EL84s that I had in my Nomad 45 started glowing bright orange therefore I replaced them with the standard mesa/boogie EL84s. Other symptoms with the JJ's were occasional erratic noises. However, with these brand new Mesa EL84s, I am still experiencing the same problem as before...

Only advice I have is to call up Boogie.

For the cleanest delay sound, it should be placed after the distortion. So if you are using the amps distortion, it should be in the effects loop. The Guyatone MD3 is a great, warm sounding digital delay pedal. Otherwise, the DD-3 is also good and I have heard good things about the Echo Park.

You sure there was nothing wrong with the Carvin or is it just a relatively low gain amp? You would think it would be pretty versatile with it being a multi-channel amp. But 9 seconds of sustain when picking a low string with the gain maxed out is rather is short.

The stage 1 Stiletos do not have a lot of gain. I have not played a Stage 1 or 2, but I do know from product research that the Stage 2s do have more gain. Do you have any overdrive pedals? You should be able to get a decent metal tone if the amp is pushed a bit.

Well, if you did want the Marshall sound, the Stiletto series would definitely be the closest.
