Stiletto comments & questions after trying one 4 first time

I appreciate everyones help. I ordered an Ace 2x12 Combo and should have it next Friday. Ordered from GC - I felt obligated because the numerous amps I bought and exchanged. I'll say this, the GC in Tampa, FL is great. They never gave me any grief about amp swaps - good group of guys there...

Stiletto comments & questions after trying one 4 first time

What exactly is the fluid drive mode that could be so easily reversed? I was either going to get the 2x12 Ace combo or the Ace head and possibly Recto 2x12 cab for more low end thump. However, the later is about 400 more bones - don't know if it's worth the $$$ to go that route althought...

I'm trying to decide the same - recto or M5. I mostly play from home so I think the lower wattage options...

    amp selection help

Hey all - hope you'll provide some guidance on Mesa in general and amp selection. Long story short, I've tried an Egnator TM 4212, a Bugera 333xl, and finally a Bogner Alchemist. I'm a metal guy and still haven't found the tone I'm looking for. I'm in Tampa and no local Mesa dealers in the...
