The road king has 3 inputs, one 4 ohm mono input and two 8 ohm inputs. I ended up running both 8 ohm inputs to my heads A and B 8 ohm iputs so i can mix and match which side of the cab each channel gets or both. But when i plug into the 4 ohm mono jack i only get sound out of the semi open side.

What the best way to hook a RK 4x12 to a RK II head? I tried using the mono 4 ohm jack but sound only comes out of the open back side. Would it be alright to use both 8 ohm jacks to the heads A and B 8 ohm jacks?

Great news, i just got the call Monday 4/10/06 that my beautiful "gold grilled" road king series 2 head is finally in after waiting since june of 05. Hope you guys got the news too or will soon about yours.

I ordered mine way back in june of 05. Still waiting for the head, got my RK 4x12 in october which is heavy as hell. Do you have to ask for a series 2 or are they just making them instead of the series 1?
