    Triaxis - how 'tight'

Thanks for the replies. If I get the Triaxis I will run through a VHT 2/50/2 and will use a Rectifier 212 cab. Interesting point about EQ - I'd be happy running a graphic EQ in the loop if necessary, but would prefer not to. I take your point about the MkV and it is a strong possibility of a...

    Triaxis - how 'tight'

Just a quick question... can the Triaxis get a tight metal tone similar to a MkV in extreme mode? I'm asking as one has come up for sale and I'm sort of lusting after it

Mini or Dual which way do I jump?

Its one or the other - Dual or Mini. I (we) cannot leave too much kit apart from drums and cabs at the rehearsal venue due to its location. I'm happy to lug around a Dual BUT I cannot make up my mind. The Dual is AMAZING when gigging even at smaller dB venues and you are right I can attenuate...

Advice - Tweed to Marshall tones TA15?

Calling TA 15 owners - is it possible to dial some pushed classic Tweed tones such as Keith Richard Rolling Stones as well as some more Marshall AC/DC crunch? Is it possible with this little amp? I'm asking as I'm sort of thinking of selling my 5e3 clone if the TA can get these tones. Thanks.

Mini or Dual which way do I jump?

Okay I'm really lusting after a Dual Recto after getting to gig one before Christmas when I had the opportunity to step into a local band for a series of gigs. I've been toying with the idea of a Dual for my heavier needs for a long time, but I rarely get to play live or gig where I can fully...

    Your views on ESP M-II

Yeah you make sense my friend... and if I ever need or want to sell a Jackson then it will have greater resale value!

    Your views on ESP M-II

Hi, I've been trawling the classified adds here in the UK for a while looking for either a Jackson Soloist (USA) or an ESP M-II or buying a used Jackson in the US (but gave up on that idea). Now both these guitars are darn rare used in the UK. I've found a guy quite a way from me that has one...

    Two amps but which?

Yep I got the VHT for a great deal as they don't often come up for sale in the UK.

    Two amps but which?

yep the Triaxis came out of no where - but hey when its right its right! If you know what I mean.

    Two amps but which?

Its darn funny how life throws a curve ball at a once in a while. I was 99.9% certain that I was going ED, but I've been hesitating over building a rack set-up after playing a Triaxis. I landed a VHT 2/50/2 at a price that was ideal. So I've decided to go Triaxis! 8)

Decided - Triaxis is the way to go, but need advice on efxs

After much testing, playing, listening and deliberation I have decided to go with a new Triaxis as my preamp. My new dilemma is around the use of effects in my rack. I currently use the following pedals: Maxon OD9 pro+ and Maxon CP9 pro+ comp. I have a Decimator Pro Rack G and its as simple...

Thanks for a very comprehensive reply - lots to think about.

Triaxis - I've been thrown a curve ball

Thanks for the response... I'm not due to see the guy until the end of the month. I sort of thought his pitch was a bit OTT and was geared towards selling! One thing is for sure I don't want to compromise on tone.

Triaxis - I've been thrown a curve ball

Hi, I posted a while ago asking about buying two Boogie amps. One would be the Dual Rectofier and the second was more likely to be the Electra Dyne. Both amps would cover all the ground I am likely to need, from my modern metal needs (Dual Recto) to sparkling cleans and Marshall'esq crunch...
