Oh, I don't put stuff in the loop anymore but when I did it would make this awful screeching/buzzing noise. Nothing in loop=no problem. Thanks for the replies fellas-think I'm gonna get an Electra dyne. That thing blew me away when I heard it demoed-lots of amp for the money.

My apologies if this has been covered. I've got a 60 watt head with no eq, and it has some of the same gremlins other IIb owners speak of. It likes low-med gain od pedals, high gain not so much, and I need high gain once a week. The effects loop is a nightmare too, some guys recommended I get it...
