Give me the worst case. Hardwood combo with EV-type speaker (What speaker are they using anyway?). How much does it weigh?

Well, no actual snakes, but it's making a lot of background noise, hiss and high frequency stuff. It seems to be getting worse. I'm guessing preamp tubes, but what else should I check out? Would filter caps do that? Other then that it's sounding great and has no shortage of power.
