Still looking for a Mark IV head? I have one as a backup for my Mark V, and I'm considering selling it to fund a different flavor (recto maybe). Just had it checked over by a Mesa authorized service shop. It's in perfect working order, and new Mesa tubes.

Yes, I agree about the low end.. I may not have missed it if I hadn't tried the Theile... ...but I feel the Theile also adds a biting upper mid or treble sound... Could it be that the Theile's driver is not as broken in as the Combo's?

Hi Don, Thanks again for the great vids! Has anyone here had experience with Mesa 1x12 Theile's loaded with a V30? I thought the cab was designed around an EV speaker but now comes equipped with a C90)(?) Would changing the speaker defeat the engineering behind the cab design?

Channels One and Two are completely dead, unless you switch from channel 3 (channel 3 actually works), then they last about 5 seconds. Weird. Tried swapping tubes.. no go. Dropped it off to local authorized repair facility. One year old and never left my basement. I'll let you guys the...
