    Decoding the serial nuimber of a Mesa Boogie 5:50 Express

    Does anyone out there been able to decypher the serial number. No real method to their system. The serial number on the amp is E50-000800.It would be nice if they had a system..something like the way Gibson has. Haven't heard from the original owner as of yet. Hoping he/she can give me answers...

    Yes, I purchased it from "Long and Mcquade" in Burlington ($1200 CDN). I did email Mesa for additional info, but was directed to call Mesa service from John T. Mesa Hollywood. As soon as the amp gets here(7P.M. local time)I'll get the serial number off it and get a hold of Mesa customer service...
