    Two button footswitch for Type 1 DC-3

    I'm back playing a bit of guitar again. I have the above mentioned amp and would like a footswitch for the eq and reverb. Will a standard two button footswitch with a stereo 1/4 inch cable work or is there something more sophisticated in terms of circuitry going on. To get one shipped up here...

    generally noisy dc-3

    Hi all, I've got a dc-3 that is very hissy and has a lot of 120hz hum. I'm guessing caps for the 120 hum but what about the hiss? FWIW I am comparing this my other tube amps, a 63 deluxe, 79 super reverb and a marshall jmp. or are they just kinda noisy amps? Thanks for any feedback Brian

    Hi all, I've got a 1rst gen dc-3 (with the knob for eq select). two of the eq sliders do nothing. I have a schematic, a meter and soldering gear. Anything to look for in particular to try and fix this beast! Ps if this has been covered I apologize but I did not get a lot of helpful...

    Dual Caliber & Caliber series Output/Master MOD

    OK on my DC-3 there is no resistor accross the pot but it looks like its sitting on the circuit board FYI my serial number is DC3 00882. What vintage might that be? And where is the correct resistor to disable? Thanks so much Brian
