i was putting my markIV in my car today and cause i never mount the switcher on the headshell (very bad engineered...never had that sucker stuck in there...) i saw that tubes are not protected from shocks cause mark IV have NO back panel! have you guys ever wondered or actually buyed a back...

my rack is still in his building process...and even when it will be finished i'm not always gonna bring it with me so putting inside my mark IV wouldn't be a wise choise...nontheless it's already a monster, putting atube head inside would be overkill. and i don't have anymore free unit for tha...

i had once a mark III blue stripe, liked it but preferred the IV....it's obvious that if i had the cash they will be both in my collection :mrgreen:

85w is the output power. you need to check the power that your amp absorbs when in use. i think you should go for a 500w step down transformer.
