how does the triaxis and 290 setup compair to the real mark IIc+ i know the triaxis has the IIC+sound in it there is a IIc+ head for sale near me thinking of buying it :)

Cranked up my rig (triaxis, mesa 290 power amp) ran it just over half, then smelt a burnt electrical smell. Pulled it out and pulled the cover off. One of the transformers has the burnt electrical smell. All wires fine. Still runs fine, just smells. Any ideas about what might be going on? What...
