yeah,
today i tried a bogner uberschall and a peavey penta and valve king, a local made amp, and a soldano avenger, and a JCM 800 just for kicks
the 800 has a big sound, the bogner makes you feel more involved in the sound? im not sure how to explain it, and the soldano had a kick *** crunchy...
ahk nice thanks guys, im still undecided, i played a 6505+ the other day and was quite surprised, i do like the versatility of the mesas tho so hmhmhm :S
Hey guys, im heading into a music shop tomorrow to try out some mesas, mainly the rectifier series
it would be helpful if someone could give me the settings to persuade someone to fork out $4000 for the head :D
or any decent settings at all
thanks in advanced!
oh like, metallica, lamb of god, children of bodom, slayer, Anthrax, mnemic, slipknot, stone sour, alot of metalcore bands too
practically a combination of new school and old school metal. except death/doom and the like.
i dont own one, but i have played a few
its a great sounding medium gain setting, with the option to have massive tweaking done to it.
i spose it would be good for old school metal, wouldnt do the newer stuff i reckon.
