    NAD Pre-500 Rev C Dual Rectifier #41

That's freaking awesome dude, love it. I need to get back into the early Duals sooo bad.

    Rectifier Lineage...

Very interesting indeed. Let us know what you find in the guts. Everything look original I presume?

    Mesa Rectifier Badlander

This thing looks to be a monster. I'd love to hear the Badlander mixed with a MWDR, I think that would crush! I also love the reduction in the size of the amp. Now it looks like it will fit on top of the Vertical 2x12 cab.

    Which Mesa for me?

I'll be honest with ya, I'd consider the TC100. I can not express enough how awesome the multi watt feature is. That instantly solves your volume issue while still retaining the feel and tone of the amp. The amp is one of the best to come out of Petaluma in quite a while. I play in an 80's...

    Mesa Dual Rectifier 50th Anniversary

They're the same amp, just different grilles.

    New Head Shell?

Thanks man. Although, I did a google search and the site isn't coming up? Did he stop?

    New Head Shell?

Any one have a smallbox head shell for the Electradyne available? I know this is a long shot, but I figured I asked the Mesa community first. I know Mesa will build you head shells, but will they do it for out of production models? I got the long box version now and it's just too much.

Bought a used, possibly faulty Electra Dyne.

WOW! I would have bought it for that too danyeo! At first reading your post I thought tubes as well, but I agree, something sounds off to me. I'd have someone check the pot number and see if it matches one from the manual. Or from Boogie.

    FS/FT - Mesa Fillmore 50 Head***SOLD***

Ok, I have come to the conclusion that while this amp is a great piece of gear, it's just not my sound. So, I'm looking to sell/trade my practically mint Mesa Fillmore 50 head. It comes with all the "case candy" along with the original Mesa shipping box/materials. This amp as I said, is in...

    Single Recto V2 question

I know the differences quite well actually. It's a version 2. I've had one before which is why I'm confused about the delay between switching channels, and it's a very noticeable lag. Everything else works fine though, so I don't know where to go from here. I guess maybe a phone call to the Mesa...

    Single Recto V2 question

Please forgive me if this has been covered and I'm sure it has. I haven't been able to find info on it though. I recently picked up a Single Rec V2 head and completely forgot about the massive lag when you switch between the channels via the footswitch. Is there a fix for this or am I missing...

    Solo 50 blew

Nothing special at all. Just ease the old ones out and ease the new ones in. They can only go in one way due to the notch on the base of the tube. Pretty straight forward. Good luck and let us know how you make out. Oh, and make sure you have the same fuse that the amp requires.

    Solo 50 blew

Those would be perfect for ya.

    Solo 50 blew

To my ears, the Recto's sound better with 6L6's, but to each their own as tone is VERY subjective. So, it's a matter of preference for you. Those smaller tubes are preamp tubes. I'd replace the power tubes first then go from there.

    A new ElectraDyne owner

Welcome to the Board and welcome to the Dyne family! Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Mesa Fillmore - Claims it lacks volume/headroom

I feel like an idiot here Boogie peeps and feel the need to come clean and be true to the Mesa brand. After my ordeal with the Fillmore 50 and said issues above and after talking to a Boogie rep, I have resolved, at least, my issue. I decided to take a closer look at the tubes and check further...

Mesa Fillmore - Claims it lacks volume/headroom

I spoke with a rep from Mesa yesterday and got some clarification. Being the design style the amp is, getting a pristine clean tone is not really what the amp is about, unless you use single coils. Very tweed-esqe in that way. I also didn't point out in my last post that I primarily use...

Mesa Fillmore - Claims it lacks volume/headroom

I'm looking for some info here as well. I just picked up a Fillmore 50 Head and a Mesa Vertical 2x12 cab. I've watched just about every demo on Youtube regarding this amp and really liked it a lot. So, I head to my Boogie dealer and play one through said combination. Sounded great, sold. Took it...
