I like the RG-16. I think Axess makes a cable that works for the Nomad. It's 1/4" on one side and multi pin DIN on the other. I may try to contact RJM to see if that cable would work with it. Do you use any rack effects?

I just read the rjm rg-16 webpage and it has a list of "amps supported" and the Nomad is not one of them. bummer. Looks like I'll have to go with a cfx4 and midi foot controller. expensive but the best bet in my scenario. thanks for your advice, you are wealth of knowledge on this stuff!

I had a dual rec solo head and my nomad has just as much gain as it had. It's just a different sounding gain. The versatility of this amp is so under estimated. Good for me though because I got a good deal on it! 3 cheers for the Nomad!

I would love to see a forum for the Nomad too! I have a 100 watt Nomad. I have a question. I have it set at 60watts. If I remove 2 of the power tubes can I drop it down to 30 watts without damaging the amp? Or does it already bypass 2 of the power tubes when you switch it to 60 watts? Thanks...
