Puckboy, have you ever compared the jensens with the eminence alnicos. It's been a long time since I heard both of them side by side. I always thought the Emi's were warmer, but mine definitely don't have a ton of bottom end. Maybe the Jensens, just have an overall wider frequency response...

If you daisy chain them, you should also use one of the 4 ohm jacks. The 4 ohm jacks are in parrallel.

I haven't heard 'em, but the weber Blue Dog's get good reviews, and they are only $170. They are supposed to be his version of the ALNICO Blue Celestion.

The parallel out is to daisy chain another cab with that one. It won't make it stereo, it just sends the same signal to another speaker. If the other cab is an 8 ohm one, your amp will "see", 4 ohms, not 16 ohms.

Try putting the pedal in your effects loop (set 100% wet), if you want a volume boost on the overdrive channel also. When an amp is being overdriven, if you boost the signal to the input you usually only get more overdrive, and not much volume boost. The more distortion you're getting out of...

The tech where I bought it, Mesa/Boogie Hollywood, told me it was cool, to run 6L6's. I'd heard of it before on the Gear Page, but I thought I'd ask somebody in the know, first.

The tech at Mesa Hollywood told me that they are coming out with a Mark V, but he didn't say when. He also said something about the Triaxis, but I can't remember.

I use a Voodoo Labs SparkleDrive, or a Tubescreamer, and for a wall of sound kind of distortion, I use a Danelectro Fabtone. I use Mesa 6L6's, I'm not sure where they're made. Tone wise they have lot more headroom and low end tightness than 6V6's. However they don't have the beautiful top end...
