    WTT Mark V 25 Watt

OK guys I have had this a little over year, never gigged and maybe 10 hours on it if that, I mostly play my Roadking so this is just collecting dust. Nothing special about it just the typical black on black, original box and all accessories and paperwork. I also have two Mini Rec slant cabs, one...

New Single Rectifier vs. my old Tremoverb and...

FYI I should mentioned I saw a lot of these punk bands before they got big, so all the could afford was probably the single at the time until they hit it big.

New Single Rectifier vs. my old Tremoverb and...

I should have mentioned before the 3 channels came out I saw some punk bands playing the single, the guy from Good Charlotte, the all american rejects are two I can name.

    FS: Royal Atlantic RA-100 Head

I see you have owned a stiletto in the past, how would you compare it to this? My one and only complaint about the stiletto is lack of low end but I make up by putting an EQ in the loop.

New Single Rectifier vs. my old Tremoverb and...

Preamp is probably the same, but since it doesnt have rect tubes and half the crap duals have it will sound different because less components.

New Single Rectifier vs. my old Tremoverb and...

Is it a version 1 or 2? I know a lot of the punk rock guys perferred the singles because they were more of a rock amp then the duals.

    Dual Rectifier Revision F

What tubes are in it? How old?

why does the early 3 channel rectifier not get any love ??

From what I am hearing there is nothing wrong with his tone or the delay, sounds fine to me and a typical recto tone. Personally though I use my RK for most everything and use the serial loop on that, I just picked up my Revision G's and if I start using them live I will just mod the loops to...

why does the early 3 channel rectifier not get any love ??

I actually already got a line on a 2001 triple, not sure if I am going to pick it up as I own 2 Rev G's, a Rev F rackmount and also a roadking V1

why does the early 3 channel rectifier not get any love ??

Just curious if you have ever played one of the original 3 channel rectos? Some of us in the community are convince the first years of the 3 channels where a bit different and sound the best, there is no proof behind it but these are players that have many rectos or had many rectos and i am one...

Mark V or Roadster for my needs

Just remember youtube tones and what you get are two different things, for Modern music the Roadster wins hands down. FYI have you ever thought of going used? You could have the best of both words, a 2 channel recto which you can get used for $800 to $900, sometimes even cheaper if you wait...

Mark V or Roadster for my needs

Might need a bit more information, as lead is only about 5% of a song I would worry more about your rhythm tone. So give us more details of style of music, where you using an OD to boost the roadster? I get great leads with my RK with a Tube Screamer.

why does the early 3 channel rectifier not get any love ??

On my Roadking V1 Channel 3 Modern is the same as Modern on the Red channel of a 2 channel, or at least very close. The 2 channel is a bit clearer but not a huge difference.

why does the early 3 channel rectifier not get any love ??

I have said this before and I will say it again, in order to get the 3 channels to sound more like the older rev G 2 channels, you must not use modern on channel 3, use it on Channel 2 and you will get so much closer. Honestly I find more people's problem with the recto's is they can never get...

why does the early 3 channel rectifier not get any love ??

Saw James Brown, his guitarist was using a 2 channel Triple. Adam from Maroon 5 uses dual rec's A lot of punk bands/Indie Rock bands use them, examples Fall out boys earlier albums, New Found Glory, 2nd and 3rd album and All time low and many more bands. Many

    Mesa Boogie Roadking Reverb tank

The tank for the RK1 is listed as $59 on your website, so with shipping I could see it being around 75 to $100

Road King I - Spring Reverb Issue

I have an RK1, my reverb stopped working but when it did work it was nothing like what you are saying yours sounds like, so not sure what your issue is. I think my tank went bad but honestly I never used it much so it wasnt a big deal to me.

Road King I - Spring Reverb Issue

The reverb should be better then that, sounds like your tank might be bad, best thing to do is if you have another amp or a friend with an amp with built in spring reverb is to borrow that tank to see if it works.

Mark V25 head or Roadking V1 head

Standby is fine for changing tube configuration. I have had my roadking V1 for many years and still love the amp.
