Another Request for Mark 5 Measurements

I did email Mesa and they were cool enough to get the measurements for me! Thanks for the help guys but no need to grab the tape measure. Mesa proved to have exceptional Customer Service and the members of the forum are just as awesome to offer to take the time out to help as well. Great brand...

    Mark 5 Combo- Dimensions Confirmation-HELP!

I'm hoping some friendly soul here on the forum could take a few minutes of their time to help a brother out... I placed an order for a Mark 5 combo that will need to be built by Mesa/Boogie. The amp should be done around the end of January if all goes according to schedule. I want to make sure...

Does The Petaluma Factory Act As A Service Shop?

Thanks for all the info guys. I do have a very qualified shop that I am comfortable with, Central Jersey Music, which is owned and run by Dennis Kager from Ampeg, Reverend, Pignose,Sundown, etc. fame and I believe that their shop is an authorized Mesa service center anyway. Looks like the best...

Does The Petaluma Factory Act As A Service Shop?

Man, I just realized from looking at my old posts here that I actually have had this Mark III since last December, I feel like I has lost a lot of quality tone time by not really think of the Boogie as my main go to amp. I kind of got caught up in the whole boutique Dr. Z thing for a while but...

Does The Petaluma Factory Act As A Service Shop?

Hi All- I have a Mark III Green Stripe combo I picked up on eBay last spring. I have some other amps that I've been using as my main gigging amps but I've finally gotten some time to play with the Mark III and realized what I've got; a killer combo that just may be able to pull off the pushed...

    Mark III Footswitch Question

We'll I'm happy to say that the foil trick worked great! The amp switched from Rhy/Lead as soon as the foil was wrapped around the open end of the cable, so it just confirms that the Boogie did not like the H&K foot switch. I'll be sure to get the Mesa switch and I'll be off to the races! I want...

    Mark III Footswitch Question

Not really, I'm more inclined to leave the hands-on tech stuff to the pros. I did notice that when the H&K foot switch is plugged into the front panel jack the LED is getting power, but the FS just not switching between Lead/Rhythm. The FS works great plugged into the rear panel jack and goes...

    Mark III Footswitch Question

Yes, all channels work perfectly using the pull knobs. I'm thinking that the 2 foot switches that Boogie offers have to be slightly different operationally otherwise why bother producing two completely different ones?

I tried it both ways, no luck with either.

    Mark III Footswitch Question

Hey All- I just picked up a Green stripe Mark III on eBay and the amp did not come with any footswitches provided. I noticed that there are actually 2 different ones listed in the online Mesa/Boogie store for channel switching the amp between all 3 modes. I have a basic Hughes & Kettner FS that...
