Indeed, After owning the Axe i realized i only liked the el34 amps, and going back to the IV i missed the el34 girth so im looking to getting a splawn QR. Its a great amp but my tastes have changed tis all :D
Im pretty sure its just a early B the serial number is 7979 so its after the 6000 mark.
Cant wait to plug her in! Amp gas is out of the way, If i can only hold myself from looking into suhr's...
Sadly havent plugged her in yet, But i will post a review, What i find weird is it has a attached chord like a A, The triangle shaped fx loop like a B, But no Reverb switch on the back either, So is a A/B? lol.
So I sold the Axe Fx+ART Rig: And returned to the mark fanboy club
I missed this amp dearley! Its my third and this ones not going anywhere. Early B version with the attached power chord!

I would say keep the Mark IV so you can have an agressive rythm tone with the roadster and the liquid smooth lead tone with the Mark IV, Best of both worlds, If it were me id go stiletto & mark iv.
Im with you on all this at practice due to a loud drummer i play preamp volume 5 master 7-8 and thats where it sounds the best it just oozes sustain and clarity my V is a soft V with more mids and less highs and lows then a regular super scoop. Also my gain stays about 3-4 with a BB as a clean...
Yea my drummer is sponsored by shine drums and he has a sweet black beauty les paul custom color scheme to it gorgoues.
Ill estimate shipping and let you know just PM your zip code.
And yes we did the grill cloth :D
