Dual Rec FX Loop - Possible to use as a tuner out?

Yup, had to plug the output of the tuner into the return to get it to work. It works fine - still a small amount of signal coming through of course since the loop is parallel, but it is working ok. But I think I'll try the Slave Out suggestion instead. Still keeps the tuner out of the my main...

    Rectifier with Marshall cab

Yes, I should clarify - I'm not a nu-metal player, and that's prolly why I like the Stiletto cab much better. I think the Recto with the Stiletto cab is much more versatile than the Recto with the Recto cab. I can dial in just about any tone i want from clean to crunch to old school hair to...

    Rectifier with Marshall cab

Dual Rectifier + Stiletto 4x12 = :D :D :D :D :D :D :D I didn't like the Recto through the standard Rectifier cab, FWIW. Haven't tried a Marshall, but I would imagine the Marshall and Stiletto cabs are going to be more similar than Marshall and Rectifier, based on cab size alone. Why...

Dual Rec FX Loop - Possible to use as a tuner out?

Thanks for the reply. I started thinking that maybe I have a bad cable. I'm going to check that tonight when I get to our practice space. Maybe that's all it is. Logically, what I've done should work. Thanks again!

Dual Rec FX Loop - Possible to use as a tuner out?

Hi all - I was trying to use the FX loop on my Dual Rec as a tuner out, but I couldn't seem to get it working. (My Dual Rec is the 3 ch version, but it is the pre-2010 generation which does not have the dedicated Tuner Out like the new ones) I am not using any FX in the loop, but I do have the...

3 ch Dual Rec Effects Loop Question

Oh, ok. So basically setting the loop control on the back to "Footswitch", and then making sure the "FX" button on the footswitch is NOT engaged should do the trick - i.e. activate Output and Solo, but makes Send and MIX setting moot? I'll give that a shot - last night I had the "FX" button...

3 ch Dual Rec Effects Loop Question

Hi guys - new to the forum. Had a Boogie Solo Rec back in the late 90s, and now I'm back in the Boogie family - just picked up a new 3 ch Dual Rec yesterday! Anyway - I have a question about the effects loop.... I don't want to run any effects in the loop, but I want to have the loop active...
