thanks fluff,,i see you have a fja modded recto..can you give an overview of that?...i have been e-mailing jerry about doing something to mine...what does yours sound like...his fh-100 sounds amazing from the clips i have heard.
im having some crackle and noise issues and scratchy pots so its time to clean it up since the amp is a 96 recto...which contact cleaner is best to clean pots and tube sockets...plastic safe or not? and conductive or non conductive..?
i have a 96 dual recto and today i noticed no effects coming through the loop,,everything set as always,,but no effects.. anybody have a clue?..i tried several different cords but no avail.
i agree it could be a plate load resistor and/or coupling cap...i can take my hands off the guitar with gain at 3 oclock and no feedback....looks like time to find a tech....anybody know a good one in georgia?
hi, i have a 96 mesa dual rectifier.. the amp sounds strong but have noticed it lacking sustain and notes cut off or decay quick...also noticed it sounds awesome when first played but gets muddy and loses definition after about 30 min of playing (loud bedroom level) not band volume...i have...
the axe sounds great when recording direct, but i could never get mine to to sound anything like i wanted live.through a power amp and cab..it came close at low volumes but didnt have the feel of a real boogie,or any other amp for that matter..i ebayed it and now looking for another boogie.
