swap v1 tube with another, thats a good place to start..

if your running a delay in front of the amp that could be some of the trouble..try it without the delay in the chain. most modulation effects work better in the loop. try running the channel volume a little lower and adjust the master volume to taste.. what are other settings? bold/spongy tube...

3 channel involves a little more stuff. there is some schematics on here though

its a 1996 dual recto 2 channel.. from what i have read here . your solo boost will remain intact. only thing i lost was the mix control which i dont need anyway.

did the loop mod on my 96 rectifier....it took about 5 min. and all i can say is what the hell took me so long to do it?....it sounds thick,crunchy and not fuzzy like it did before. the removal of the green wire made me fall in love with my rectifier even more..lol i cant stress this enough...

i will also agree with the above.. i spent money having my amp serviced just to find out that a russian tube wouldnt cut it in v3 v4. never had a problem since. (so far)

put a chinese tube in v3 and v4 and try it.. i just went through something similar.. do a search on here about cathode follower

what does the mod do and who does them? what does it suppose to improve...im looking at getting a stiletto soon

trace has answered my emails the same day every time..and on weekends...also gave me free advice.. he apparantly didnt get the message..fja was the opposite of that. but that dont mean they do bad work it just means they are super busy...try emailing the people that make the amp and see what...

im gonna try the mullard reissues in those spots, since doug and the tube store said they would hold up in those slots.. they got to sound better than the chinese...i tried the russians again today at bedroom level just to see if it was a fluke or bad tubes..but i got the same issues within a...

dont use the ole dead horse smiley thing on me but.. i noticed some on here still use russian tubes in position 3 and 4.. here is the kicker. my roadster and 3 channel have never had problems with the volume fade issue but can not run a russian tube in my 96 2 channel for long until the problem...

on my 2 channel recto which is the one i use the most...both channels masters at about 11 oclock and active loop master at about 9:30 to 10 oclock. this is band level.. loop send at 1 oclock as well..i figured i would include that setting since it affects volume too... my other amps a 3...

i think i just jizzed my pants when i saw that..lol i dont think you would have a problem, in smaller clubs i just turn my cab away from the crowd. but as everbody is well aware of..they sound better loud. :D
