Hi , had the same problem and come closer to my target using these two options: a) you need to activated the loop so that you can crank the master of channel 2 around 3-4 o'clock (pushing the El34 into distortion, not your preamp tubes) and you will get closer to waht you're looking for...

Hi, just got the RK II Combo. I used to have the RKI Combo which sounded amazing. Now with the new RKII and using approx same settings, It does not sound as good as the "old" one. I sounds like a "box" somehow, no deepnes and no real presence..... hmm Do I need to break it in somehow? Thanx Pino

So the RK II V1 has still the "old" clean channels the RK II V2 received the Lonestar Cleans ? Did I understand you right?
