can you still control the FX loop with the footswitch? what about the Solo boost and master volume? were they effected? The guy didnt happen to tell what he actually did inside the amp did he?

does anybody know where I can get a schematic of the 3 channel recto? all I did was bypass the Mix pot but I'm not 100% sure that that's enough.. I might just have a 100% wet parallel loop switch :P which I guess technically is the same thing as a series loop anyways... :?:

you could use a DPDT switch and have a series/parallel switch on the 2 channel. I tried this with my 3 channel but I'm not sure if its accomplishing the same thing. The circuit is much more complicated than the 2 channel. It still has a pot with dry on one side and wet on the other but it...

If turning up the send doesnt help it might be caused by phase cancellation. Sometime the DRY signal coming back from the effect is out of phase with your amps dry signal. Make sure your effects are set for 100% "wet signal" If only Mesa had included a series/parallel switch on the RK.. you...

If I ordered these will they send me a matched quad or will I have to mod my head to have bias pots added? I always heard you'd have to do that if using not Mesa tubes.

well that makes sense! I think I could probably get $1000 for my Recto (3channel) because its in great shape. That makes a $230 difference in having a brand new RM100 with 3 modules that suit whatever style I want.. I'm wonder though whether or not the modules can sound that drastically...

that's a good point and I'd love to have the Egnater(if I could afford it)... but I can get a RM100 for $629 + $600 for three modules so that's only $1229 :P The question is... will it sound as good or better than my Mesa so I wont regret selling it... Ty Tabor is using the Randall RM4 now...

obviously it can be done on the 3 channel because Voodoo Amps offers the mod service.. I just wonder what's involved and what drawbacks there might be..(no solo boost,no master volume, loop always on,etc) I would think that you could disable the "dry mix" all together by moving a wire or two...

does it exist on any Mesa amp? perhaps that was a cut/paste from another manual so they wouldn't have to type redundant stuff.. and if so I wonder if there is a wiring diagram some place? I'd really like to convert my loop to series or better still install a switch to do both...

The topic says it all.. I need my loop to be series and can't find any where stating that its been done before.. only on the 2ch... What's weird is that the PDF of the 3ch recto owners manual mentions a parallel/series switch... :?: maybe that's something they added... any ideas?
