took it to the man and tested the tubes...they seemed to be okay, but he put in a few new ones. i couldn't seem to reproduce the crunch...time will tell.

Dear gurus...please advise: My Lonestar is 'crunching out' when i play at any volume. Like the sound disappears a little and kind of makes a crunchy sound when it does. I've tried new cord and guitar and its still the same. Its almost like its getting too much signal to process...any ideas...

thanks. hmm. just looked in there again, and maybe its a 12. i think the seller told me 15 and it perhaps tricked me into seeing what i thought. i definitely couldn't find another on google.

hello. i've just purchased a used Lonestar 1 x 15 combo from craigslist but i can't seem to find any others by googling. is this a rare amp? also, anyone know where i might find an online user manual? thanks! django
