Do the new tubes need to be biased in the old Mesa amps like the C and C+? Or is it like the new ones in which you don't need to bias it if you put in Mesa bottles? Just curious.

Sorry to piggyback on someone else's thread, but this question somewhat pertains to the subject matter. I would be grateful if somebody could give me their opinion on the value of a Mark IIC head that was modded to a C+ at the Mesa factory. It has EQ, simulclass, and is very clean, very good...

Does anybody know how to figger out what the year of manufacture is on one of these old cabs? I bought one recently and am curious. Mine has the solid lettering rather than the lettering type on the image above. There is no serial number on the cab, but each speaker has a serial number...
