How do I wire up this speaker? Help!

Hey guys...if you ever have a problem figuring out the speaker polarity, you can always touch the speaker lead terminals with a 9 volt battery. If the speakers pushes out it is correctly in phase. If it pushes in it is out of phase. Same goes for the speaker leads coming from the amp (no don't...

Try the JB out. I have used EMG 81/85's for years in my metal band, through a dual rectifier of course. Love the sound, but have since started another band...more doomy, old scholl rock. Thanks for the reply. Wanted to let you know that this amp is back to life! May sound like a stupid idea, but I went ahead and changed the tubes out, cleaned the sockets and fired it up (the band mates were hacking on me to get back to rehearsal). Works fine...nothing abnormal at all. I must...

Dual rec. - Lightning show - blown rectifier tubes...HELP!

Hello All, Happy to have found the Boogie Board. Need some help from you guys. I bought a 2-channel dual rec. obviously used. At rehearsal I was greeted with a lightning show. I shut the amp down, and found out both rectifier tubes were blown, and there was a scorch mark on one of the power...
