    Hey, I found some old radio tubes at a market in NY, but I wonder if these could be used in my Nomad 45w amplifier... I got 12AT7s 12AV7 12AU7A 12BH7A 12BY7 I also got a 6T8 tube, guess this can't be used. Looks similar to the 12Axx tubes though...

    A 50watt amp will peak alot more than 50watt, so I wouldn't feel safe to crank up the single...

    Hm, I use Sovteks. They're maybe getting old too.. Treble - off? I always end up using 12-14 treble, 12+ bass and 9-11 mids... And not much more than 10 o'clock on the gain.

    I've also been wondering about this with my 1x12" combo. Can I pull out f.ex. the 2 outer EL84 tubes and plug the 8Ohm speaker into the 4Ohm jack without problems?
