Ya. It dawned on me when I took the lid off. The screws were really long (how i didnt notice that to begin with is besides me). I feel really stupid now for posting. : )

I got hit in the forehead during a performance at the Whiskey a GOGO my this guy who i teased all the time about not cutting his strings. The impact did cut my head open, but if he actually cut those strings, it would have ripped my forehead 4 or 5 inches!! ALL HAIL THE LAZY NON STRING CUTTERS!!

Head seems to be working just fine, but I noticed this burn mark on it. First of all, what does this section control and should I take it in?

Actually found it. One of the screws from the lid was to long and was grounding out the input plug. WHEW!!! Thanks all!!
