The Roadster all around sounds much better than a Dual Rec in my opinion. I use the tubes recommend by Doug's Tubes. I like it better than the JJ's. Definitely go with a Roadster if you are looking for tones ranging from mild to wild.

Has anyone ever tried the Carl Martin Quattro? I was reading reviews and checking out the website and it looks very interesting.

The reviews look great on the Barber. Will it add a lot of grit and take away the low end of my amp? Those are 2 things I don't want and seem to happen with most OD pedals. I want a nice smooth and not harsh tone to come out when I use it whether I'm using the high gain or Channel 1 Tweed.
