    Well as far as my researches go, seems like this is a common problem with this amp. tough 've heard that there is some clean sounding .cal 50+ - but that just might be a "clean ears" ;) anyway if you can faind some mods or fixes - let me know peale! B-Cool and enjoy!

    hi my caliber 50plus(rack version) hums pretty badly in clean channel but in lead it´s almost quiet. I have tried new tubes... two amp techs have looked my amp - changed few bad resistors... tone got better but noise is still there. lets put it this way - in studio it bothers me ... cant...

    Serious Help Needed!

    Hi! I have this intresting noise thing going on with my caliber 50+ (6L6 rack)! Everithing seems to be OK Two amp tech have checked it but still no luck... new tubes (all OK). But still there is too much noise in my clean channel (even when nothing's plugged in) Lead channel is Just Fine...

    POBLEM - caliber .50 + Clean channel's too noisy

    Hi! Just retubed my caliber, but noise is still there (hiss and hum)- then again, when I switch to Lead it's quiet as silence. Tried to find that bad tube but no luck? even when nothing's plugged in - noise is there! Maybe this hiss problem is familiar with some one and it's easy to fix...

    Hi Ti! You should ALWAYS use standby switch when turning on/off your amp - For tube sake! But Your question: I have also accidentally turned off my Caliber 50+ w/o standby and I have not noticed any Burb sound - tough i think it might be normal when operating w/o standby. But switching...
