as long as pairs are matched and fit the bias specs of boogie, it will work. make sure el34s are in outer sockets

1994 Mark IV Combo (short chassis). **UPDATED PICS** Excellent working order, all original, normal wear and tear/no structural problems. Paint on grillcloth is acrylic and is off for removal now. Includes casters and footswitch. Tubes are less than a year old. Has (4) JJ 6v6 tubes installed...

i've had my mark iv for 9 years and am still messing with the settings. the problem is there are so many good ones. i used to crank the channel volumes and keep the master pretty low, but now i've got el34s in there and all the channel volumes around 3-4 and crank the master. it sounds...

i finally convinced the sound guy to let me run mic-less. we've got keyboards and whatnot, so the pa mix can get kind of hairy and loud. the amp is definitely loud enough to cut through in clubs, so i've decided to just run it loud and let the vocals and keys run the pa.

i just found this. i really like the R1 and R2 (with presence pulled, though) sounds a lot. can't wait to try it when my el34s get here

I just ordered some to try out. Do you use it in simul or class a? what are some things to look out for as far as tonal differences vs. having 6l6s?

i don't have the panel, but i think they're around 50 bucks from boogie. at least a couple of years ago, they were.
