    NAD: Triple Rec

Thanks! It really is an amazing amp. I've been playing around with orange on vintage. I'm going to try it on modern. You're right it is such a vicious beast of an amp.

    NAD: Triple Rec

I picked up a triple rec reborn today (not new but new to me). The previous owner said it only has a few hours on it and I believe him. This thing is pristine! I have a dual rec pre-reborn that I have been playing with. I use a gsp 1101 with the 4cm and the loop always bugged me but the new...

    Help with the loop...

IS the H9 a pedal? Does it have an input level adjustment or switch? The loop is closer to line level than instrument level but you might be able to get the level in the loop low enough to work with some pedals. Try playing around with the loop send level. Also the individual channel masters...

    Mark V owners, question

I have a dual rectifier that I have used for a while. I bought a mark v used in october. Like you said it always sounded thin to me. I struggled with it forever and finally decided that I was a rectifier guy.....but then something clicked. It took me months of fiddling with this **** thing...

    Metallica - No leaf Clover

Almost sounds like a mark and rectifier blended.

    Mark V good enough?

OH boy....a Mark and rec in stereo!! I can't believe I haven't done this yet. Guess what I'm doing this weekend!

    Mark V good enough?

I know my title probably didn't make sense but here is where I was going with this.... I have a dual rec and a Mark V. I love the V. I am really looking for a Metallica type tone and I think I am pretty close. I always see people on the boards saying that the MArk iv gets an even closer...

    Dual rectifier vs triple rectifier

All great info!! I keep hearing that the triple isn't necessarily much louder just tighter especially when you run the lows high. I hope this is true.

    Dual rectifier vs triple rectifier

    Cool! I appreciate that input.

    Dual rectifier vs triple rectifier

I have a pre-reborn dual recto that I like quite a bit but I hate the parallel loop and it is doing something really strange where it sounds good through the 16 ohm output but not the others. I have an opportunity to pick up a reborn triple that is practically new for a decent deal. I know I...

Road King II sounding flabby - Possible Causes??

Ive noticed that my 3 channel dual rec started doing the same thing. New power tubes didn't fix it so im at a loss. I am going to take it apart and see if i can find anything visibly wrong. Did you ever solve yours? Another thing that is odd is that it sounds fairly good with a 16 ohm cab...

Has anyone traded their Mark V In for a Dual or Triple Rec?

I haven't traded in any amps but... I've own a dual recto for a while and a few months ago got a good deal on a Mark V. Don't get me wrong I love the Mark and I think it's great to have many sounds available but I think I may prefer my Recto. It just sounds more "powerful".

Very little sound after using boost pedal...Help?

I wonder if it is possible that you blew out a preamp tube? Do you have spares?

Can a Mark V footswitch control a Recto at the same time?

That's a good question. I don't see how it could but You could always get 2 amp gizmos and wire them together. You might be able to do it with one and some relays. Or maybe a custom foot switch and some relays.

Luv Scooped Mids for Rhythm Hatem for Lead

Do you use the on board eq to scoop your mids? Maybe play with some settings and see if you can make it work out so you click off the eq during leads. I know it would be tough because you would lose your low/high boost as well. Or maybe just through an mxr eq in the loop with the mids boosted.
