Gonna order a tube set from Eurotubes for my Rectoverb combo. Trying to decide between the 34's and 6L6's. Whats the generally prefered amoung users?

Looking for an extra cab to add a little more punch to my sound. Tryed an open back lonestar wide body cab and it seemed to kill the focus and punch of my sound. I'm assuming I need a 3/4 or closed back cab, which one would you recommend from the boogie line? Thanks

I just got a rectoverb combo, love the amp. I try a lonestar widebody ext cab-open back with it, and hated it. The amp seem to lose it's punch. Looking at the recto cabs, i think closed back is gonna be the way to go. Anybody wanna share there exp with the 1/12 or 2/12 model. I would ideally...

I'm also interested in trying EL 34's and replacing my pre amp tubes as well. When selecting a matched set how can I be sure they'll work properly. When straying from mesa brand tubes? Fixed bias etc. I have the rectoverb 50 just got it and new to the game. Any help appreciated!

GT tubes, sounds interesting. Can i run a matched set of these without any hassle. Read somewhere that the amp is fixed bias and to use mesa tubes. Any tips for other brands. Was gonna order some off tube depot. Thanks

Whats your take on the EL34 option? Also I don't have a Mesa dealer near by, about 2 hours away. As far as tube replacements go should I stick with boogie tubes?
