On my V:35, the crunch is noticeably louder. Probably a preamp tube.

I swapped my BEOD for a JHS @ Andy Simmons pedal. It's based off of the Angry Charley pedal. I like mine more than the Friedman in front of my MarkV35.

I switch channels while my amp is in standby that way the pop isn't audible. I get the pop switching channels after that.

This will most likely be my next amp.

I just bought the Friedman BE-OD a few days ago and I'm really digging this pedal. It sounds really great into the clean channel of my Mark35.

I have my combo stacked on top of a Mesa Thiele factory loaded with their Fillmore 75 speaker. I think it sounds great.

Can you take a pic of the inside, unstained part of the cab so we can see the bare wood?

What headphones were they using?

V1 is about impossible to get to but if you have deft fingers you can get the rest without pulling the chassis. That said, pulling the chassis makes it easy.

I would imagine the internals will look a lot like the Mark Vs and nothing like a vintage IIC+. That doesn't mean the tone isn't there.

I have my Mark35 combo stacked with a Fillmore loaded Thiele. I'm totally happy with it.

I'm using a Mesa Thiele with a Fillmore speaker. I ordered it with the Fillmore and it sounds great on its own and mixed with the combos C90.

I believe there's a jack on the bottom of the chassis to plug a footswitch for toggling the reverb.
